The company was established in 1973 and has always operated from a central location in Surrey.

During the late 1980s the Company continued to enhance its prominence and today has in-house manufacturing through the introduction of the latest machinery in the production of Venetian blinds,Vertical blinds, Roller/ Casement blinds/ External Awnings and a high specification Electrical and Hand operated Curtain and Hospital Cubicle track system.

Bespoke flame retardant Curtain making is still carried out in the traditional way. Building on a reputation of quality and successes Techniblinds Ltd  manufacture and produce all of its products from its air-conditioned factory/office in Carshalton.

In order that the “ Quality and Efficiency “ of the company could develop it decided to implement the British Standard ISO 9001: 2000 compliant system and registration of this standard was successfully achieved. In addition the company has accreditation from Exor and Achilles management systems along with the London Borough of Sutton, Building Confidence. By developing a formal quality Company all the employees show their commitment to providing the same high level of service for altogether making it the first choice amongst its counterparts.
